What I thought was a "Pleasant little timewaster" is a really addictive timewaster

The Good
This is the first 'clicker' game I have played and it is strangely addictive. Not knowing what to expect I started out clicking on the first lemonade stand and eventually had the profits to buy a few more. When I had ten business units the rate at which profit was made increased which was a nice surprise so I kept on going.
When you click on a business it starts making a profit and a status bar fills up but with five or six businesses running and the bars filling at different rates it soon becomes a challenge to keep on top of them all so I hired my first manager, then another and so on.

I've been playing for around an hour now, it's running in the background earning me money as I type this and I keep popping back to see how much money I have and re-investing it. In other words the game is pleasant and addictive, even its repetitive music is catchy.

Update
I've been playing the game for two days straight now and by that I mean most of the day and all of the night until midnight and beyond and I leave it running so that when I get up in the morning I've amassed more cash. The more I've played it the more depth I've found and the more addictive it has become. It's like gaming Kryptonite for me - it appeals to my desire to complete things and I can't get any work done!

There are 'Events' and one finished last night, at the end of the game there were prizes for those who finished on the leader board. These events use the same basic game but different products, in the The Event I played was set in the past and had dinosaur shock collars and sabre tooth tiger litter bins etc. Cash accumulates faster and the player had to grow the game, trash it to collect the 'angels', restart, repeat, repeat, repeat. This game ran in parallel with the normal game and the game set on the moon so I was switching between the three all night long. Thoroughly enjoyable

The Bad
It's a fun waste of time and I hate wasting time

The Bottom Line
Its fun, it's free, give it a try for an hour. That's what I did and two days ago and as I type this I'm wondering if I dare just open it up for a few minutes to see whether my overnight strategy worked. If I do then I'll probably end up skipping breakfast
