Adventures of Keith Night: After a Shadow
Description official description
Keith Night wakes up in a gutter. Having no memories of getting there, Keith has to track the events of the previous night, but he has no idea of the events to come. Later on Keith finds out that the events are part of his inspections of the murder of his only close friend, Walter Stillman. This leads him into a chase of his nemesis-to-come, Big Jackson. The story is told almost completely subjective from Keith's point of view, excluding conversations. Along with Keith, there are only 3 main characters lined up with the story.
After a Shadow is a short noir adventure in a comic-like style, made as a part of the developer's Bachelor's Thesis. It was fully created with Adventure Game Studio. The game is a classic point'n click adventure a little in the vein of Discworld Noir and such. The interface of the game is similar to Revolution's Beneath a Steel Sky, where you use only the two mouse-buttons to interact with the world and inventory.
