Description
AETI ProFlight 2000 is an add-on for
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2000. AETI ProFlight 2000 comes with many different pilot voices and accents. It's purpose is to build adventures with air traffic control interaction to make player generated flights closer to a real world experience
To use AETI ProFlight 2000 the player first sets up a flight plan in
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2000 and saves it to a named file. The player then uses AETI ProFlight 2000 to access that flight plan and input additional information such as weather settings, flight id, type of aircraft and so on. This is then compiled into an adventure which is accessible via the
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2000 adventure library.
The product comes with two additional programs that complement it,
APLC32 which does the actual compilation of the adventure files, though other compilers can be used if preferred, and a demo version of
Game Commander which uses voice recognition so that the player can respond to air traffic control instructions vocally.
