This interactive story book was released to promote American McGee's action game Alice: Madness Returns and to fill in the new players on the events of the first game released 11 years before. The main events of American McGee's Alice are displayed in a series of pictures with text. By touching certain areas of the screen (or clicking on them, depending on the platform) the players will animate the drawings and advance the storyline. Some pictures contain hidden symbols that unlock certain items in game's gallery (called "Alchemical Discoveries").
