Description
In this tribute and fangame sequel to
Alley Cat, the author has extracted that game's assets and attempted to reproduce its gameplay using original sprites and sounds but with some enhanced graphics and new rooms. The minigame collection of rooms available to the clothesline-hopping player's keyboard-controlled alley cat (supposing the other cats in the garbage cans don't topple it, the mice on the line don't drop it and the open windows don't fling eerily accurate garbage at its head!) includes the classic Big Cheese room, the canary chase and the knock-the-plant-over-before-the-tarantula-bites-you challenge... as well as some more modern and more abstract rooms whose solutions will be left as an exercise to the player. The old hazards of the bumping broom and the prowling guard dog remain constant threats.
As in the original, completion of a room unlocks access to the romantic bonus round where the cat attempts to defy other cats and Cupid's bumping arrows to meet its mate in a heart-filled bonus round. Unlike the original, there is only one difficulty setting available.

the original game, The Thinker also released full packs of all sound and graphics from it.
