Back of Box - Amiga (Germany):
DAS DATUM: 1. JANUAR 1956.

lT CAME FROM THE DESERT II
lT CAME FROM THE DESERT WIRD BENÖTIGT, UM “ANTHEADS“ ZU SPIELEN.

DATELINE: JANUARY 1ST 1956 – LIZARD BREATH CALIFORNIA

Rumours have surfaced over the past five years that giant ants have been spoiled again in the mountains surrounding lizard Breath, but most people have written off as delayed hysteria. These days the local inhabitants are concerned with the “big bucks” that the government's Atomic Testing Program is pumping into the local economy. Even the strange stories that have surfaced about Melville Hospital had been ignored in the rush to embrace an all atomic future, but that was until Brick Nash stole a truck load of plutonium detonators and headed for Dr Wells deserted laboratory..

    Is the nightmare beginning again?
Is it safe to go submarine watching in the desert?
And why do some people around town get this funny look in their eyes when you mention candy bars?

    Find out in “ANTHEADS”
IT CAME FROM THE DESERT II
“ANTHEADS” REQUIRES IT CAME FROM THE DESERT TO OPERATE.

Cinemaware website:
Date: January 1st, 1956. Place: Lizard Breath, California.

For five years, rumours have abound that numerous giant ants were sighted in the hills around Lizard Breath, even though these have been dismissed as "delayed hysteria" by the city's inhabitants. Nowadays, the inhabitants of the region are far more interested in the substantial amounts of money, which pour in by means of the nuclear test program sponsored by the government. Even the strange stories that are heard about the hospital in Melville are not taken seriously, as everyone hastily adapts to the "atomic" future.

All that only changed when Brick Nash stole a plutonium-cartridge loaded truck and headed in the direction of the abandoned lab of Dr. Wells.

    Is the nightmare starting again?

Can one safely go in the desert on the search for the lost submarine? And why do some people in town look so strange when faced with sugar cubes? You can find the answers in "Antheads: It Came from the Desert II".
