Description
Brataccas is one of the very first Atari ST and Amiga games ever produced. Controlled using the mouse, it combines exploration, puzzle-solving and combat.
You play a character named Kyne, a man who has a price on his head. You must search the mining asteroid, Brattacus, to gather proof of a government plot against you and to try to stay alive. Surveillance cameras are watching you, so take any chance to disable them.
Brataccas is a place where greed and corruption rule the day. The residents are treacherous, and while they can be bribed they are not above murder, so be careful out there.

Trivia
This game had an extremely complicated background. It was originally being developed by the original
Imagine company for the Sinclair ZX Spectrum, based on an add-on device which was planned to add more colours to the system. This never happened, and Imagine collapsed in 1984 (the later company was a branch of
Ocean). The rights to the in-development games remained with Imagine's people, including
Ian Hetherington, who went on to found Psygnosis, and lead the game's development as a showpiece for the 16-bit systems. Indeed, technically stunning games became Psygnosis' trademark.
