Amiga Power
A fun driving game that's fine as far as it goes, with the hills and junctions giving it a bit of originality, but the control system is abominable, it's not even slightly close to the coin-op and it's far too short to provide a decent amount of enjoyment for £26.

Amiga Format
The Amiga racing world at the moment already makes the M25 look somewhat deserted, so new car games have to offer something special if they are to survive comparison with Lotus II - the reigning champion. Cisco Heat has little to offer except the similarity with its arcade parent; and while it retains the arcade's brevity it loses the coin-op's cornering challenge. Sure, blasting through down-town San Francisco is amusing in the short term, but short-term is all you get.

Amiga Action
Cisco Heat has turned out to be an unimpressive racing games, with poorly animated sprites and abysmal sound effects that fail to capture the potentially exciting experiences. The car under your control tends to be over responsive and the whole graphical presentation is poorly implemented. As for the speed, admittedly, it's relatively fast, although the scrolling is a touch on the jerky side. Cisco Heat has a rather amateurish feel to it, and in no way competes with similar contemporary products. You are advised to ignore this conversion in order to avoid heart-rending disappointment.

Amiga Joker
