A superlative shoot 'em up which knocks Forgotten Worlds off the top slot as the best Amiga blaster. Unmissable.

Superb! It looks great, with well designed graphics and an amazing game over screen - your ship lies in a heap on the floor, which isn't too brilliant but behind the engine lies a wall of heat, distorting the objects on the wall behind it. It all sounds excellent and it plays like a dream.

Tilt (Sep, 1989)
Datastorm is a great shoot them up. Many programs are more beautiful but Datastorm is simply the most exciting shoot them up on 16-bits. Once you start playing, there is no way to unhook. Unlike other games of the genre, there are no patterns of attack and it is not possible to take landmarks, everything relies on reflexes. The ideal program for lovers of thrills.

The One (Jul, 1989)
There are times when things slow down, and at worst the proceedings grind to a halt when the disk is accessed, but unforgivable as these flaws are, Datastorm comes highly recommended.

Buy this game if you want to face incredible odds. And, as the box says, "Blow 'em to Bits!"

Power Play (Sep, 1989)
