Two months before the game's release, Amiga Power magazine ran its annual All-Time Top 100 feature (incidentally, Rainbow Islands topped the list, ahead of Formula 1 Grand Prix (AKA World Circuit), Speedball 2 and Monkey Island). They asked several industry people for their personal Top 10s, and Ocean's Gary Bracey named Epic as his favourite game ever, promising that everyone would agree when it was released. Unfortunately, Amiga Power didn't - they only gave it 34%
