Computer Gaming World (CGW)
A clumsy interface coupled with mediocre graphics shows why British products are generally not ready for the American market. Still a detailed game of Roman military tactics; superseded by Cohort II.

Power Play
Vor rund einem Jahr versuchte sich die englische Firma Impressions schon mal an einem Taktikspiel. Damals hieß das üble Schundwerk noch "Rorkes Drift". Heute erscheint, nur notdürftig verändert und kaum verbessert, das gleiche Spiel als "Cohort". So wurden aus englischen Soldaten ein paar Römersprites, aus Zulus ebenfalls ein paar Römer (freundlicherweise wurde wenigstens die Farbe geändert). Ebenfalls neu: Der "Jetzt hören die Truppen auch in Gruppen auf mein Kommando"-Modus. Aber das alles nutzt wenig, wenn Cohort in etwa so viel Vergnügen bereitet wie eine Stunde Marathonsitzen im Ameisenhaufen.
