Power Play
Nette Grafiken und riesig-protzige Schlägersprites machen noch kein tolles Prügelspiel; vor allem, wenn dabei die Bewegungsvielfalt Eurer Helden auf der Strecke bleibt. Drei "Hau-drauf"-Methoden fordern keine spielerischen Qualitäten. Zwar lockern die Extras das Geschehen etwas auf, über mangelnden Einfallsreichtum der Macher täuschen sie jedoch nicht hinweg. Selbst zu zweit bietet Final Fight nicht den erhofften Prügelspaß. Im Kampfgetümmel haut man immer wieder seinen treuen Kumpel um, und das nervt mit der Zeit. Will ich prügeln, kram ich mir "Golden Axe" oder "Pit-Fighter" aus der Spielekiste. Final Fight ist mir zu anspruchslos.

The Good Old Days
So, in the end, Final Fight is nothing more than a game to impress the other kids when they watch you playing something this great looking. Just don't keep in on long enough for them to notice how lame the actual gameplay is.
