The Good Old Days
On the presentation side, the most notable part is the music. As usual with Lucas Arts Adventures, it is extremely good, the main Indy theme comes over very well, just like the 'part 4 specific' tunes. One of the few games where turning off the speakers would be foolish! The graphics are very detailed and aestetically coloured - almost perfect. Only sometimes the background pictures could use a few more colours, that is where it becomes obvious the game was originally designed for VGA PCs and then reduced to ECS Amiga standard.

Amiga Format
Despite being a film license - of sorts - this is a brilliant adventure game. A tried-and-trusted formula, applied to a likeable and humourous theme. Stunning graphics describe some beautiful scenes from all around the world. Three modes of play, which offer a different challenge depending on your point of view. Well thought-out puzzles that give you a real buzz when you've solved them/

Amiga Joker
Summa summarum als eine gewaltige Präsentation, eine gewaltige Konvertierungs-Leistung und last but not least ein gewaltiges Spiel!

CU Amiga
Without doubt this is a brilliant graphic adventure. The setting of the difficulty level for the puzzles is just right for the person who likes the idea of playing an exciting adventure, but who doesn't want to be hassled with obscure puzzles. This is a huge game which sprawls over endless locations, all of which are beautifully illustrated. The designers have tried to cram in everything you could want in a game and in doing so have given the standard Amiga a huge task to cope with. If you can forgive the occasional lack of sparkling response from your computer as it struggles with the large animation sequences, then you'll be rewarded with a game that will keep a smile on your face for weeks.

Amiga Power
Top-notch plot with the flavour of the three films to savour. The atmosphere is occasionally richer than Steven Spielberg. There are plenty of perky puzzles with satisfying solutions, and comic touches and animations abound throughout, but in a far drier vein than the Monkey Islands series Hard drive owners have little to fear, but for everyone else, i.e. the majority of us, the disk accessing is a total bummer. While falling short (very in certain floppy instances) of percet, Indy just goes to show that the graphic adventure is improving in leaps and bounds. The best yet but also the worst as far as floppy disk-based execution is concerned.

The One
In it's favour, it's one of the best graphic adventures ever produced. It's moody, exciting, and funny in all the right places. The puzzles aren't mind-bogglingly tough, it has to be said (I never once found myself really, really stuck) but this is compensated for by the sheer length of the quest - Fate of Atlantis is an absolutely huge game.

Amiga Computing
If you've got some time on your hands and are a fan of Indy then you'll enjoy this adventure as it all slowly unfolds. However, have a look around at other adventure games which may appeal more.
