ACE (Advanced Computer Entertainment)
[Retest] A fascinating blend of two game styles. Still the best of its type.
ACE (Advanced Computer Entertainment)
Great graphics, great music, great sound: what more do you want?
The Games Machine (UK)
Powerplay is graphically pleasing but sonically dull; the sound effects don't amount to an awful lot and are practically identical on both Amiga and ST.
ASM (Aktueller Software Markt)
The Games Machine (UK)
[Retest] Actually forcing a challenge tends to depend on persuading your opponent to agree, since you can simply avoid them by always moving away from a chasing character. In short, this is a rather basic game with some irrelevant window-dressing.
ST/Amiga Format
Although not delivering either graphical power or compulsive gameplay, Powerplay is certainly a novel approach to the current Trivial Pursuit/pub quiz fad. If Arcana were to bring out new data sets from time to time they might be on to a winner.
Power Play
