Description
Red Mars is a combination of real-time and turn-based strategy. Your main goal is to destroy the opposition (up to three players or CPU-controlled enemies can be played simultaneously) by achieving the highest level of technology possible. Gameplay is divided into two parts. In the RTS part you have to build new buildings, army, and prospect ground for minerals with a special unit called Pioneer. When you encounter enemy with your army, all combat becomes turn-based. The game has unique way of producing units. Each robot contains five parts: left hand, legs, torso, head and right hand. All can be combined to create almost an unlimited amount of different types of robots.
Multiplayer is available as play-by-email.
