For hardened blast-anything-that-moves fans this will prove very frustrating. The game's no pushover - it took us several hours to reach halfway mark even with the handy hints supplied to make a reviewer's life easier. Fans of the coin-op will doubtless love Space Ace.
Zero (Feb, 1990)
Brilliant graphics. Great sound. An interactive animated cartoon. Unfortunately you can't interact enough, which turns the gameplay into a bit of a turkey.
Amiga Joker (Feb, 1990)
You get quite a few minutes of animation on four discs for your money, but what a lot of money it is for what is essentially a very good audio-visual entertainment with a bit of interactivity thrown in.
The One (Jan, 1990)
Ready soft has made some improvements over its first laser disc conversion, and there is some fun to be had here, but essentially it's more of the same with the same faults as its predecessor - which means little more than expensive short-term entertainment at the end of the day.
Zzap! (Mar, 1990)
The secret of eternal life, good health, and youthful looks has been discovered. A single blast from the prototype device will knock years off your age. But the dastardly Commander Borf has grabbed the Infanto Ray and plans to use it to conquer Earth by turning everyone into babies!
Power Play (Mar, 1990)
Denn: Wie beispielsweise will man in diesem Falle das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis einordnen?
Cartoon-quality graphics and amazing sound make this a stunner to look at and listen to. But the gameplay is unbelievable poor, and it's a possible to complete the game within an hour of purchase.
