Anstoß 4 is the fourth game of the famous and successful German football manager series Anstoß.

The main difference between Anstoß 4 and its predecessor Anstoß 3 is the simplification and restriction of the economical part of your manager life. You can no longer do whatever you want with the money of your club. The president states budgets for salaries or player transfers and if you don't want to get fired, you shouldn't ignore them.

The jump from Anstoß 3 to Anstoß 4 is higher than between the previous games of the series. It offers a lot of new features and the existing parts of the game have been heavily changed.

Trivia

Due to countless bugs the game was nearly unplayable and was heavily criticized by the press and fans of the series. Instead of fixing the problems with patches, Ascaron decided to create a completely new game, Anstoß 4: Edition 03/04.
