Destination: Mars!
Description official description
As an astronaut, you go on space missions, eventually leading up to being the first man or woman on Mars. The missions consist of 3 or 4 major parts. Early on in the game, they include takeoff, an EVA to build the spacestation, pick up and deployment of cargo, a few science experiments, and reentry. These are the Low Orbit missions. Later, the missions include Space Station missions and Mars missions.
In this game you are in competition with other companies to be the first to reach Mars and then, once that objective has been reached, to mine Mars the most fruitfully. To win this game, you must come out on top.

Trivia
Box
On the back of the box, the screen shot inserted for the Apple IIGS is upside down. Also please notice that the IBM PS/2 is shut off. :)
Manual
The game came with a pamphlet about Mars, which folded out to become a color map of Mars. This was used to navigate and find the coordinates of locations once you got there.
Most of the manual is a light science text book, ranging in topics from Geology to Chemistry to Physics. These would help you when performing various experiments in space.
Sound
The game incorporated Real Sound (TM) which allowed for digital audio playback through the PC Speaker.
