This earliest game from Sierra On-Line is a short adventure, as it allows people new to adventure games to become more comfortable with the genre. All the actions are performed by typing a verb-noun combination at the parser, and the commands that the player has to enter appear in bold lettering in this walkthrough. Directions are listed as abbreviations.

You start outside the space center. PUSH SWITCH on your watch to receive a message telling you to report to the briefing room. You also get a password. OPEN DOOR and GO DOOR to arrive at the front office. Doorways are located to the north and east. Go N and give the password to the secretary. When you are at a junction of hallways, go W and SALUTE the general. He will tell you that you are to fly to an asteroid about to collide with Earth and then blow it up.

Go E (x2) to the computer room. GET DISKETTE from the table and PUT DISKETTE. When the game asks you put it in what, type INTO DRIVE. Write down your flight plan and go E to arrive in the supply room. GET EXPLOSIVES and continue E to the exercise room. Here, EXERCISE then go E. In the shower room, TAKE SHOWER and return to the exercise room.

Go N (x2) to get to the pre-flight checkout room. A doctor is in here. OPEN DOOR and then go W. You will be in the airfield with a rocket in the distance. Go N and climb U the ladder. You will be standing in front of the door, but it actually looks like a safe. PUSH BUTTON on the left side of the door, then proceed N into the rocket itself.

PUSH BLUE button and go N to the control room. PUSH THROTTLE to reach orbit. PUSH WHITE button to enter space. PUSH WHITE again then PUSH ORANGE (x2) to orbit the asteroid. PULL THROTTLE to land. Go W and GET SPACESUIT. Go E and S. WEAR SPACESUIT and TURN DIAL. Now PUSH ORANGE to open the south door. Go S, D, and S.

On the asteroid, go W to arrive at a location with a cave. GO CAVE. Go S to arrive at a pit. SET TIMER on the explosives to 120 minutes. DROP EXPLOSIVES. When the game asks you in where, enter IN PIT. Go N (x2) to go back outside. Go S and N back to the rocket. Go U and N.

PUSH BLUE and go N to the control room. PUSH THROTTLE and PUSH BLUE button to go into space. PUSH BLUE once more and then PUSH BLACK (x2). PUSH WHITE and you will enter Earth's orbit. PULL THROTTLE to land. LOOK until you get a message saying the asteroid has blown up and you saved the Earth.
