DescriptionIt's a hard life for the vintage computer collector: unscrupulous sellers driving up prices, perfectly good hardware being destroyed forever at recycling centers, endless repairs, heaps of parts cluttering up the house - and, last but not least, severe disapproval from the spouse about all that "junk" lying around the place! These are exactly the kind of annoyances you'll face in Retro Fever, where the collecting hobby becomes a fast paced action game.
Your objective is to expand and maintain your collection of classic machines, which grows more difficult as the game progresses. Each round is comprised of three stages:
- Recycling center: snag the computers off the conveyor belts before they're destroyed, and keep them away from the greedy hands of the vile eBay reseller, who's only in it for the cash. Your wife isn't far behind, trying to prevent you from bringing more of that 'useless old stuff' home.
- Repair shop: your computers are in need of a good tinkering. The bins are full of parts, and each machine needs a different one - find the right part for each computer before the roaming mutated lab rats get you.
- The roadside: the sun travels across the sky, sending forth the dreaded UV rays which degrade and yellow the old plastic cases. Armed with a sunshade, your task is to protect the poor computers... but watch out for reckless drivers, as well as your (once again) unsupportive better half.
