Description
In the future, soccer is in a state of decline as attendances grow smaller while hooliganism is rising. The authorities have decided to allow the players on the pitch to win by any means including fighting and using weapons to attract the fans back. Eight countries of seven players which include England, Germany, Spain, USA, Japan, Brazil, Korea and Italy compete in a league to be the best in the world. There are now only two stadiums in the world, an astro-turf pitch in Japan and a metallic surface in San Francisco. Instead of the plastic ball used today, the ball is now a metal nuclear powered sphere.Soccer Brawl is viewed from the side at an elevated angle showing a small part of the pitch. The joystick is used to move the players while one fire button passes or heads the ball, the other button punches a player or shoots the ball. The length of time the button is held down determines the power of the shot. Hold it down till the power meter fills and a super shot is initiated knocking down anyone who gets in the way.
