Midway's arcade version of Terminator 2 used digital stills of props and actors from the film set to render the game's Terminator enemies. With the sole exception of the SNES (using scaled-down versions of those original arcade sprites), the console releases had to use redrawn game assets in the spirit of, but not identical to, the art in the arcade.
