Good game, if you love warfare games you'll be in for a treat, looks nice, plays well and has tons of features for both Novice and Hard-core Warfare gamers.

Eins muß man den Novalogic-Entwicklern lassen: Sie wissen genau, wie man packende Missionen entwirft. Die Gegner sind immer so weit überlegen, daß man sie nur fintenreich schlagen kann. Dennoch bleibt die unbeschwerte Action deutlich im Vordergrund. Trotzdem ist Armored Fist 3 kein simples Ballerspiel, denn ohne geplantes Vorgehen kommen Sie, im Gegensatz zum ebenfalls in dieser Ausgabe getesteten Actionspiel Gulf War, nicht weit. Armored Fist 3 ist die perfekte Einsteigersimulation, die durch gut designte Missionen auch fortgeschrittene Spieler und selbst Experten anspricht.

Novalogic is er wederom in geslaagd om een zeer spannend en uitdagend oorlogsspel te maken. Het komt allemaal wat hortend en stotend op gang, maar als deze tanksim zich eenmaal in beweging zet, dan stopt niemand hem meer.

Armored Fist 3 gehört weder zu den actionreichsten noch zu den akkuratesten Panzersimulationen. Es ist die gesunde Mischung aus beiden Bestandteilen, die den Reiz des Spiels ausmacht. Leider hat es NovaLogic nicht verstanden, das Spielprinzip mit einer halbwegs aktuellen Grafikengine zu kombinieren: Das Spiel ist grafisch fast mit seinem Vorgänger identisch.

Simulationsfreunde sind hier zwar schlecht aufgehoben, doch wer gerne nur eine Runde über den Campus dreht, findet kein besseres Panzer-Actionspiel.

We weten al lang waar we met dit spel aan toe zijn. Novalogic wil ons opnieuw laten spelen in een mooie omgeving met toffe geluiden zonder ons al te zeer te moeten druk maken over de simulatiewaarde van het spel. Ongeschikt voor al wie het begrip 'simulatie' in z'n meest letterlijke betekenis wil ervaren maar uiterst geschikt voor wie wil spelen en heersen in een spel,...en daar doen we het toch allemaal voor,...niet?

Armored Fist 3 är snyggt designat och genomtänkt (även om grafiken är långt ifrån fantastisk), men det imponerar inte fullt ut. Det är en bra stridsvagnssimulator med multiplayerstöd (via Novalogics eget Novaworld), Voice-Over-Net-stöd och en uppdragseditor, så det finns helt klart mycket att göra. Det konstiga är bara att stidsvagnar inte alls är lika roliga som man tror att de är - de skjuter långsamt, de kör långsamt och träffas du är du död på fläcken.

Armored Fist 3 is a moderately diverting action-oriented tank game that sometimes comes off more like a add-on for Armored Fist 2 than its own creature.

Есть у танкистов поговорка на эту тему, только я ее приводить не буду, вдруг этот обзор будут дамы читать. Так что, если кому интересно, черкните письмецо, отвечу индивидуально. Главное же для симулятора танка, как и для всех прочих симуляторов, красота и реалистичность. В Armored Fist 3 нет ни того, ни другого. И неудобность управления делает ее совершенно неиграбельной. Больше мне о ней сказать нечего.

Oto firma Novalogic znana wam z kilku produkcji opartych na swoim systemie graficznym Voxel Space wsadziła was do najlepszego czołgu armii Amerykańskiej. Od razu ostrzegam wszystkich graczy posiadających doskonały sprzęt, wyposażony w setki dopalaczy, że to co zobaczycie na ekranie po odpaleniu Armored First 3, nie jest awarią waszych kart grafiki!-))) Novalogic próbując ulepszyć swój cudny engine, koncentrowała się na zwiększeniu rozdzielczości co owocuje tylko mniejszą pikselozą.

Why would a game publisher release two sequels to an armored combat simulation that didn't have much going for it in the first place? Did it hope the third time's the charm? Or is it three strikes and you're out? When NovaLogic's original Armored Fist came out five years ago, it wasn't a bad game, but it didn't really deserve a sequel. Nonetheless, in 1997, NovaLogic followed up with Armored Fist 2, which received a lukewarm response. They've now released Armored Fist 3, a game that claims to be a simulation of the US Army's M1A2 main battle tank. Aside from 50 new scripted missions, four new linear campaigns, the inclusion of foot infantry, and the souped-up Voxel Space 32 graphics engine (which doesn't use 3D hardware acceleration), it's difficult to see how Armored Fist 3 is much different from its predecessor. It certainly offers little in the way of improved gameplay.

With over 50 missions and an editor, there's enough depth to the game. Most players will find, however, that the later missions become frustrating due to the poor interface. While the Voxelspace 32 graphics are a huge advance over the last version, they are more suited for the intimate nature of a Delta Force 2 rather than the heavy tank's domain. Unfortunately, fundamental design flaws prevent Armored Fist 3 from capturing the frantic nature of combat, as Comanche and F22 Lightning managed to do so well.

Unless you just have to have every single tank game that comes on the market you're better off diving through the bargain bins for a copy of M1 Tank Platoon II than to shell out the money for Armored Fist 3. Pray that if there's an Armored Fist 4 that it gets a radical overhaul.
