Astro Fighter Alpha

Astro Fighter Alpha is a 2D scrolling arcade shooter. It features a never-ending swarm of enemies to kill, separated into sections called 'Sectors'. Each sector has more ships to destroy than the previous one before it and the ships move faster.

The player has to escort the Space Frigate Zeta through the Elrutian Quadrent and defend it against wave after wave of Epsilon Ramships. There are several power-up ships that provide bonuses. Some provide health, others cool the ship's gun, and another destroys all the enemies on the screen

The mobile versions use the accelerometer to move the ship while tapping fires the laser. The OUYA version uses standard console game controls.
