The Video Game Critic
Oddly enough, this game has practically nothing to do with the 1970's TV series it's based on. In M*A*S*H*, one or two players pilot a helicopter and attempt to rescue as many soldiers as possible without being destroyed by enemy fire. Scattered trees serve as obstacles, and touching one will cause you to loose control momentarily. To its credit, M*A*S*H* also features a cool bonus stage that lets you perform surgery on a patient. The object here is to remove as many pieces of shrapnel as you can in a limited time, and it plays a lot like the old board game Operation. Although its label is marked "one-player", this is clearly designed as a two-player game.
