Here's an enjoyable little romp with action similar to Pitfall. The object is to guide your Smurf through a series of screens to save Smurfette. Rescue's graphics and fairly blocky, but still colorful and pleasant enough. The Smurfs look particularly good, and the screens convey a nice variety of scenery. Well-orchestrated music plays throughout the game. The jumping controls take a while to get used to, but overall, I enjoyed this one.
