The Atari Times
The game is simple to play, some may say too easy - most will find themselves ending their game by turning the machine off rather than running out of lives. But it's a good, solid game made all the more special by the cherished character - Snoopy - it brings to life. It's a shame this game wasn't updated for future systems. It comes highly recommended - a few do show up on eBay from time to time, sometimes boxed, but be prepared to pay - a search of completed auctions in June 2001 found prices ranging from about $10 to as high as $40.

Atari HQ
Air-action veterans will probably find Snoopy's antics a tad on the mild side compared to Defender or Time Pilot. However, the fine treatment of Snoopy and his long-time foe adds to the fun and playability, making a game that would otherwise be strictly kid stuff into one that even adult players can enjoy for awhile.

Digital Press - Classic Video Games
Once you get the hang of defeating the Red Baron, the game becomes easier and a little monotonous. You can build up your exta lives to the point where you can play for hours. I do think however, that its intended audience of young children might still find the game overwhelming and frustrating. Don’t get me wrong, you can get beaten up a bit. Maybe even drop a few lives, but you will learn how to survive indefinitely.

The Video Game Critic
Unfortunately, once you get the hang of this game, it becomes too easy. The Red Baron simply isn't aggressive enough. Even on the most difficult skill level, you'll be playing until your thumb gets sore. It's the ultimate downfall of an otherwise impressive title.
