Digital Press - Classic Video Games
Although it appears to be a primitive early attempt at a quest/RPG game, I will always remember Superman for the Atari 2600 as a ground breaker. It was the Reggie Jackson among the Mike Vails of gaming.

Objects flicker pretty badly when several are on the screen at once, making it hard to tell what's happening. Picking up and dropping objects can also be tricky. The difficulty switches provide four different skill levels. I wasn't crazy about Superman, but a lot of classic gamers love it.
