This second game saw a release for the same platforms and while popular was pretty much forgotten about (along with the first game) before ID Software came along and resurrected the series. This sequel is pretty much identical, despite coming out a few years later but that's no bad thing as you will enjoy exploring the new levels and creeping up on Nazi soldiers.
Arcade "classics," these products take the
dungeon mentality and transfer it to World
War II. Castle Wolfenstein postulates an escape
from a Nazi castle, while Beyond Castle
Wolfenstein offers infiltration of a Nazi fortress
to assassinate Adolf Hitler. As serious as Pac-
Man, its graphics are dated, but it remains in
this reviewer's fond memories.
