New concepts in arcade games are few and far between, so Imageworks is to be complemented for producing an original idea, and it's non-sexist and non-violent too. That is, apart from detonating bombs, but no-one gets hurt in the process. Great graphics, super sonics, addictive action and fabulous fun for all ages. Buy this, you won't be disappointed.
Power Play
Computer and Video Games (CVG)
This is more of a mindbender than a thumb-twister because once you've solved a level once it shouldn't prove to be a problem anymore. If you were the type who enjoyed showing how you could solve Rubik's cube in a traction of a second then this is just the brain-teaser you've been waiting for - if not, prepare to lose a lot of sleep and a lot of hair.
The One
In the bad old days of Spectrum games this was just the sort of thing that turned up on budget and everybody said "Ideal budget game". It still is and I'm not sure that the addition of some 16-bit graphics to the same concept really makes that much difference. It's fun but it's sort of insignificant as well. I'll concede though, that for some people - the sort who thinks Mensa is a good idea - Bombuzal will be a blast.
