The One (Mar, 1991)
[Budget re-release] How you approach the challenge is a question of choice - avoid the robots and sneak around or power up and just let rip. Either way weeks of intense interactive excitement are guaranteed: as yet, this is as close as you'll get to experiencing a complete virtual reality inside your computer.

ST Format (May, 1991)
The opposition's intelligence, the design of the complex and the lifelike handling of your character all mean the impression of reality is completely sustained from start to finish. If you're after a game with a lasting challenge and the graphics to match, get Cybercon 3 - you'll still be playing it when Cybercon 4 arrives.

ST Action (Dec, 1993)
[Sci-fi roundup] The world of the Cybercon is a vast 3D polygon environment, with bags to do. It's fast, it's tough, it's going for a budget-type song and it'll take you a good while to complete... but watch out for the metal suit rubbing on your inside leg - nypp!

The fact that you never know what you're going to run into when you round next corner lends the action a good deal of tension, helping to make this one of the classiest 3D products you're likely to see - bags of action and some of the most complex puzzles around. It'll be months before you finish it, but you'll love every minute.

Play Time (May, 1991)

Atari ST User (Sep, 1991)
It has been raved about by all and sundry and there is no denying that it is a well thought out and brilliantly executed project, the 3D works superbly and along with the attention to detail and though that has gone into it, it deserves a good response. But I feel worried about the gameplay, as I said it will not appeal to those who are looking for a quick blast, so don't be drawn in by overly flattering comments. It's a great game but only for those who won't mind the slow gameplay.

ST Format (Oct, 1993)
[Budget re-release] Cybercon 3 has much to recommend it. It's very big, very smart and thankfully comes on a single disk, but I found it curiously uninvolving. When you get beaten by certain puzzle, that "I'll get you next time" feeling just isn't there.

Cybercon III looks wonderful, but it's frustrating to play, a bit repetitive, and packs no big surprises.

Power Play (Jun, 1991)
