An incoming asteroid
Enemy ship
My ship got blown into pieces
Game over
The post-title loading screen art, featuring the pilot with a look on his face that says, owl be back.
Space combat with the basic enemy fighter ship.
The upgraded, more dangerous enemy fighter.
Part of the game is locating and destroying enemy observation posts.
The debris remaining after an observation post is destroyed.
An unfortunate enemy bails as his ship explodes.
You can earn extra credits and score the occasional fuel pod by deploying your scoop. Here, we're capturing a hapless pilot and a fuel pod.
You can also earn credits by cleaning up the occasional minefield. The mines are homing, though...
A warpgate to the next zone.
We've entered the warpgate.
Using waypoint navigation as we pass a star (or gas giant, kind of hard to tell).
An energy delivery drone arrives as we pass a planet and its moon.
Ordering resupply drones through the strix fighter's computer interface. Once they arrive, they sit still and have to be scooped up.
It was going to happen at some point. Our ship has been destroyed by this candy-stripe enemy fighter.
Once you die, the game reports your score, which is tabulated in credits earned (minus those spent on resupply drones).
Are we missing some important screenshots?
