Trivia

The game uses a modified version of AberMUD with added graphical extensions called the AGOS Engine. AberMUD was originally written by Alan Cox who is now a well-known Linux developer at Red Hat.

Elvira, the game's heroine, was sued by Vampira the actress playing in ED Wood's Films. Apparently Elvira had exactly the same looks as the Vampira -- which was no surprise because they both had hosted late-night horror movie shows.
