    FORBIDDEN QUEST

A BOLD NEW CONCEPT IN COMPUTER ADVENTURES

FORBIDDEN QUEST is the first of a series of ARTEXT’ adventures combining spellbinding prose and five 8½ by 11 original graphic art prints. Clues within the five prints must be cleverly deduced and applied to solve your quest.

As the hero in this science fiction thriller, you alone are responsible for your fate. You must call upon all of your skill and cunning to prevail against hostile environments and treacherous aliens to attain the ultimate conclusion.

The beautiful princess on the cover is one of the many challenges you will face in conquering the worlds of FORBIDDEN QUEST.

Drawn by famous artists, the color cover and four black and white prints inside are all of superb quality and suitable for framing.

    THE QUEST

Far in the future you are part of a decaying civilization. Five hundred years have passed since the inter-galactic civil war destroyed trade routes between the United Alliance of Planets. Technology has faltered, creating a rapid return to a barbaric culture.

Though forbidden by the ruling government, you have fled in your starship PARADOX, chasing the ancient rumor of a superior race of beings at the far end of the galaxy. Your goal is to find these aliens and tap their knowledge to restore order to the United Alliance of Planets.

Your destination is shrouded in mystery. Frightening tales of radically different forms of life have been spread by asteroid miners touching close to this unexplored region of the galaxy.

Your adventure starts aboard the starship Paradox in the midst of a life-threatening crisis. The ship has been damaged and you have been injured.

THE DESTINY OF THE CITIZENS OF YOUR GALAXY DEPENDS ON YOUR SUCCESS!
