The Games Machine (UK)
Control and speed of the jet is slightly faster than on the Amiga but the movement is not as smooth, leading to some large steps in flight movement. The combination of extremely sensitive fly-by-wire control and high rate of execution makes the plane virtually uncontrollable when it goes into a spin, pulls high-G turns or makes violent aerial manoeuvres. The uneven frame update and over-responsive controls leave the game difficult to play.
ACE (Advanced Computer Entertainment)
While not really a bad game, this one falls a long way short of both Sublogic's and the ST's capabilities. Ground attack missions and loadable landscapes are no substitute for realism, responsiveness or believable gameplay.
ST Action
The game played fairly well and I was often burning the midnight oil - not just playing the game, but also trying to master the difficult controls. Overall then, Jet has a lot of rough edges and cannot really be recommended.
