The Kristal was adapted from a play that ran in the UK.

The graphics for The Krystal are in 640x200, so the CGA support is in CGA's 640x200 monochrome mode.

An entire disk of the 360K diskette distribution is dedicated to a 40-second long digitized speech introducing the gameworld.
