It has taken a long time for the ST version of The Kristal to arrive, but now it has you'll find the combination of tasty graphics, humorous character interaction, and the occasional spot of joystick waggling a real treat. Expect to be playing in a couple of months time, because with four discs worth, you're getting both value for money and an epic quest to savour.
Based on a musical comedy called The Kristal of Kronos (that never appeared on stage), the ST version of The Kristal has spent a long time on the drawing board. Graphically the game is very good, the main sprite moves convincingly and some of the backdrops are similarly impressive. The Kristal is a competent arcade adventure that has weathered pretty well.
The same as the Amiga version. Less colours and sounds but one or two gameplay improvements make it equally worthwhile.
