ST Format
In Turtles you don't have any of this attention to detail, so you're left feeling cheated out of your cash. It may scale the software charts on the strength of Turtlemania, but you're going to need a frontal lobotomy if you want to play this for more than a couple of hours.
Power Play
Man sollte dem Tierschutzbund einen Tip geben: Was Imageworks mit den putzigen Heldenkröten anstellt, grenzt schon an Tierquälerei. Die getesteten Versionen können weder technisch noch spielerisch überzeugen: Das Spiel ist lahm, das Leveldesign eine große Gähnnummer, die Kollisionsabfrage ungenau, die Grafik unansehnlich und der Dudel-Sound beleidigt die Ohren. Besonders der Unterwasserteil hätte eine extra Level-Gurke verdient: Die Taucheinlage ist so dynamisch wie ein toter Esel. Da wollte wohl jemand ganz schnell das ganz große Geld mit den Turtles machen; so sieht das Spiel auch aus.
