Description
Avernum 3 is the third installment of the
Avernum series and is an overhaul of
Exile 3: Ruined World. In it, you create a party of 1-4 characters and play as one of the first bands to return to the surface from years of exile in the prison caves of Avernum. Rather than the paradise you expected, you find a world struck by sickness and plagued by monsters.
The game is very open-ended, and your party can attempt to save the world or just set up shop and live out their days as merchants.

Trivia
In the very final dungeon, look for a locked room in the southwestern quadrant with two runes. Put a pair of pants on the left rune, and then step on the right rune. You'll be sent to a secret dungeon called the Generic Dungeon, its very easy with the most basic monsters.
When you're done through the dungeon you'll reach an entire secret town :-) Talk to everyone, of course! including Jeff himself (creator of the game) - overall some nice fun exploring before you start the final part of the game.
