DescriptionAll was prosperous and peaceful in the Empire—until recently. Someone tried to assassinate the Empress…but who would dare such a thing, and to what end? The answer to the mystery may lie with the rebel Dorikas, who has fled to the subterranean realm of Avernum. A party of four brave heroes must pursue Dorikas underground, solve the mystery, and restore order to the land.
Avernum V is an isometric role-playing game in the tradition of Ultima, Fallout, and the previous Avernum games. Create a party of four characters of various races, classes, skills, and traits and explore a vast underground territory. Exploration and menu navigation is mouse-driven with optional hotkey controls. The combat mode is a turn-based affair in which each party member has a given number of action points for movement, melee/ranged attacks, and spellcasting.
