Desværre flyver man meget 'alene' det meste af tiden, da man ikke har særlig kontakt med hverken sin wingman eller omverdenen. Det er meget synd, da det ville have gjort spillet meget bedre, mens det nu føles temmeligt tømt.

That's a long list of flaws for a sim that boasts it's for the hard-core market and comes with a steep $69 list price. Some of these, such as the manual, are fatal failures that will keep any but the most flight-savvy sim enthusiasts away. With such a beautifully executed suite of avionics and such careful recreation of the handling properties of the F-16, it's a shame that the rest of Back to Baghdad couldn't be equally impressive.

For some reason, this made me uncomfortable. And discomfort pretty much sumps up my response to Back to Baghdad. I do like a good flight sim, but here, again, and again, I felt lost in a world that offered small rewards for hard work. Hardcore flyers may dissent, but I think I'll just watch this on TV.

Det finns högvis med olika radarlägen att välja mellan och knappar att trycka på. Tyvärr finns det ingen knapp som tillför spelet den spelglädje och flygkänsla som det är i så stort behov av.

Neben der unergiebigen Grafik enttäuscht das langweilige Missionsdesign und vor allem der fehlende Realismus. Wenn man ohne Probleme quer über zwei Landebahnen und ein paar hundert Meter Wüste hinweg starten kann, wirkt der großmäulige Werbespruch, den realistischsten Flugsimulator geschaffen zu haben, doch arg lächerlich. Da Back to Baghdas auch noch extrem atmospährelos ist, gibt es derzeit eigentlich keinen Grund, die Rückkehr in den Irak zu wagen.
