Backyard Baseball 2001 is pure laugh out loud fun for all ages and behind all the silly graphics has a serious strategic side that will teach kids about managing resources. I highly recommend this to parents who are looking for good games for their kids. Kudos should go to Humongous Entertainment for producing another solid title.

All things considered, I would say this game is a good choice. The interface is extremely simple to get into, and the details are there to hold the attention of the kids. There is no violence, or anything else that parents may want their child to avoid. It will teach the kids about baseball, and hold their attention for some time. The only problem is that it might hold their attention a little too well, so that the parents may not get a turn.
