Description
During the course of the 21st century, nanomachines became more and more prevalent in daily life. Many humans chose to be embedded with a special chip to stay connected to the Internet at all times. Physical combat was replaced by virtual confrontations using mechas and robots. Kou Kadokura is a young man suffering from a memory loss. As he begins a nanomachine treatment to restore his memory, he becomes involved in a scientific experiment that destroys parts of the city, and tries to connect the tragic events of his own past with the occurrences of the present.
Lost Memory is very similar to
Baldr Force in setting, themes, and gameplay. It also uses the
Baldr Bullet template, lacking exploration and being confined to visual novel sections and plot-triggered combat scenes. More mecha customization options are available, as well as extended tutorials and a survival mode that puts Kou in a series of battles against increasingly difficult opponents.
