Description
In
Band of Bugs, a tactical strategy game for Xbox Live Arcade, you play disgruntled bug Maal who's finding it hard to figure out the meaning of his little life, until he discovers the royal army, led by praying mantis Tiernan.
Now, finally discovering what it means to live a battle hardened life, you must lead Maal through the bug world around him using the unique turn-based system, battling enemy bugs and gaining a reputation among your peers. Players control a group of bugs each with different abilities. The focus is on troop management, rather than resource management.
As well as 20 single player levels and both online and offline multiplayer skirmish and team modes on offer,
Band of Bugs (from the makers of
Cloning Clyde and based on the engine of
Outpost Kaloki X) also features a level editor, allowing you to upload as well as download new maps from other users for play among the multiplayer modes.
