Bandits 9

Bandits 9 is a turn-based tactical game starring the titular nine bandits in the course of two scenarios. In the first, they plan to invade a kingdom and abduct its princess for ransom money; in the second, they are trying to escape from the top of a heavily guarded castle with the princess in their midst. The player can choose any of the two scenarios from the main menu.

The gameplay consists of large-scale tactical battles composed of several interconnected areas each. Movement is entirely turn-based, and attacks can be executed when hostile characters are on adjacent fields. There are no separate battle screens or combat animation. Each bandit has their own attributes and can equip various weapons and armor, but there are no levels and the characters remain constant in strength.
