DescriptionBarista 2 is a stand alone total conversion of Quake II. It has basically nothing in common with the original Barista, except for the name. The game is billed as an interactive story by its creator and although it's based on a FPS engine it doesn't feature any shooting or other combat elements. The game is entirely about exploring and interacting with the world while learning about the story behind it. The player takes the role of a spaceship pilot who is out on a mission when he suddenly crashes into a planet with the look of a giant face. With his ship wrecked he has no other option than to explore this strange world that he has landed on. Similar to an adventure game the player has to interact with different objects to progress further through the world. By exploring the world and examining different objects more of the story is revealed. Some NPC interaction exist too and this is all done by entering text. The game is very short and can be completed in a few minutes.
