NBA JamWith Barkley: Shut Up and Jam!, Accolade attempted to copy the huge success of NBA Jam by Midway/Acclaim. A lot of gameplay elements are similar to that title. Because Charles Barkley had made a deal with Accolade he had to be left out of the tournament edition of NBA Jam.
