Trivia
Here's a little trick for the DOS version that's not mentioned in the manual nor on the reference card:
Type CDCHESS /HELP to bring up a list of command line parameters that you can use. It will tell you the command line switches to specify which sound card you have and which COM port your modem is connected to.
Much easier than having to use the install program all over again to change these settings.
