Beat'n Groovy
Description
Beat'n Groovy is a music and rhythm game centered around dancing girls. Players pick a girl and then a song (from an obscure selection) for her to dance to. The gameplay element consists of hitting notes in a timely fashion as they drop down the screen in one of the five coloured columns, passing a line, similar to the Guitar Hero mechanics. Confusingly each colour is mapped to a very different control mechanism, ranging from the D-Pad to pressing two buttons together for a single colour.
As the player does well a combo builds up and a meter ranging from bad to good reflects this. On the screen a visualization of the dancing (drawn) girls is shown. At a higher combo they start doing more risky moves. The game supports two-player games, both offline and online, and an arcade, training and endless mode. There is an additional game mode that supports the Xbox Live Vision camera where you play along doing motions instead of using a controller.
