Linux versionHopkins FBI is known to be one of the (if not the) first commercial game for Linux.
OS/2 Warp versionThis game was one of the very few to initially be published for OS/2 Warp.
SequelMP Entertainment also planned a sequel, to be titled “Don’t cry Baby” - Hopkins FBI 2 (a 3D Adventure/Action Game).
Storyline: The daughter of the president has been kidnapped, and this is the beginning of another great investigation for the special agent Hopkins, who will have 24 hours only to find and rescue her.
This game will use a 3D engine.
Planned release date : November 1999.
Multiplayers : No.
Version differencesHopkins FBI was (and still is) pretty controversial for its extremely gratuitous violence and colourful comic book depictions of grisly murders. The UK version has all the gory sequence disabled by default. They can be enabled by applying the patch available from the official site.
